Thanksgiving!

Wishing everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving this week!

It’s amazing how taking a few moments thinking of things to be thankful for lightens my life. Just exerting a tiny bit of effort to look inside for gratitude whenever the thought takes you adds up slowly to a whole lot more happiness over the years.

Today I am thankful that I have a challenging and rewarding job, that I have the time, means, health, and freedom to enjoy frivolous games like WOW, and that the worst sickness in my family right now is a bad cold.

Can you think of three things to be thankful for this week?

Windwool Cloth Farming Update

So just the other day, someone posted a comment on my windwool cloth farming video on YouTube with a suggestion.

“Lions landing is way better… give it a try.” – Starquant

Really? I thought my spot was pretty sweet. So being the inquisitive, lazy, gold grubber that I am, off I went to Lion’s Landing to experiment!

20 minutes later, I had my answer. Go watch my latest video to see for yourself; which farming spot reigns supreme?

UPDATE: I have been back to this spot twice since I wrote this post and recorded the accompanying video. Both times, I have found the beach deserted except for the normal horde troops around the fortifications, and the farming has been nowhere near as good.

There must be something about the timing or PVP status of the area that makes it good or bad, but I honestly don’t know what it is. Given this, I can’t really recommend Lion’s Landing as highly as the cave of sprites. I’ll keep looking for good places and update if I find any.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Galakras, Iron Juggernaut, and Lightworks oh my!

Hi all, sorry I haven’t posted recently, but I’ve had a lot going on. Most relevant here is that I’ve been capturing more LFR action, and I’ll be posting it soon.

Galakras and Iron Juggernaut are already up on my YouTube channel, so go check them out.

I’ve also got caps of Malkorok and Spoils of Pandaria, but I ran out of disk space 🙁 so I haven’t been able to edit them yet.

I downloaded the free version of Lightworks for video editing, and I’ve been trying to learn how to use it. It’s amazing, but there’s a bit of a learning curve that I’m still on the beginning upslope of. Fortunately they have a video introduction series to help.

Until next time, keep on keeping on…
